Designet af Danskeren; Allan Christiansen - en hardcore snedker & geddefisker fra Frederiksværk med hang til STORE gedder! Et projekt med 32 prototyper på samvittigheden før det endelige resultat så dagens lys. De første agn var naturligvis lavet i træ, men efterfølgende blev udfordringen at lave samme agn med sin effektive rullende gang i ABS-plast.

Westin Platypus er udstyret med stålkugler, rastlekugler og skarpe kroge samt 2 stk. lineudtag for forskellig fiskedybder.

Platypus findes i mange str. og både i synkende og flydende. Den kan både bruges til aktivt kastefiskeri og til trolling.

De synkende modeller er virkelig blevet et HIT til kastefiskeriet efter gedder i både ferks & brakvand, da de hænger længe i vandet og er meget nemme at fiske og naturligvis - SUPER EFFEKTIVE!

16cm. modellen har en fiskedybde fra 1-4 meter i Sinking (svagt synkende) & en 19 cm Sinking med en fiskedybde på 2-5 meter (alm. synkende). Begge modeller svæver dog længe i vandet ved spin-stop og provokerer gedde meget til hug med sit lange døde "Hæng"!

The Platypus Project was a tough assignment for the Scandinavian lure maker Allan Christiansen. We wanted to keep it all secret and we didn’t even have a name for the lure – only a list of impossible demands, including “a lot of X-factor” and “the best rolling movement ever seen on a lure”! When we saw the final prototype, the name was obvious! “It took me 32 different prototypes and countless hours of testing and adjusting to achieve what i was looking for. The result is a unique lure with an incredible action and swimming pattern – even when fished at extreme slow speed for tricky pike during the coldest part of spring. When fished at high speed the action of the lure is just as incredible. I have no doubt that this will become a classic big fish lure. Tight lines!” Allan Christiansen
